The committee strongly suggests that the district adopt the following recommendations as a starting point, knowing that they will take time, and that they may well be refined and improved during their planning and implementation.

  1. That an attitude of growth and improvement be adopted in our district's mission.
  2. That a group of interested historians (and possible secretaries) gather to envision and develop a vehicle for better understanding ourselves as a district and as individual lodges, with a view toward helping new members and long term members know our past and to get exited about the future of our fraternity.
  3. To develop a long term sraegy to:
    • Enhance communications to further build upon our District unity and identity, and to continue to improve links with Grand Lodge.
    • Ensure sustainability.
    • Promote creativity and innovation for the business of our lodges.
    • Continue to promote excellence in the work.
    • Provide a stimulating platform for generating and sharing ideas.

Our hope is that we all work at continually trying to improve our District and the Lodges within it. Through the adoption of these priorities, and other ideas that are bound to come along, we hope that a strong synergy will evolve in the district and that our great fraternity will flourish locally within the district, and provincially.
